All these children were referred to us by the local State Child welfare agency and they come from various backgrounds.





Non of our children are "orphans', this is a very misleading and far too frequently used term, in fact they are abandoned by their parents as are most children in Romanian institutions. This is mainly due to economic reasons and the lack of social support the state is able to offer.
