The aim is to provide family type residential care for abandoned children. The alternative for these children would be in one of the large state homes where they would receive very little attention, love and care or the vital life skills they need to one day become integrated into society.

Our house is now home for eight children, there is room for up to twenty, the hope is that we will eventually have two groups of ten in the future.

We find it very important for the children that we build up the numbers slowly, this gives the children time to accommodate to the changes and for us to work with them and try to help them with their new environment. The main reason for not taking more children has been our limited funding, while we have sufficient funding for our current number of children we would like to be able to expand in the near future. In the long term we would like to establish a project that would enable us to become self funding and maybe involve providing employment for the children in the future.
